The first two weeks here were the kind of crazy that can only be associated with the stresses of apartment hunting. From the teeny-tiny to the mouldy, we'd seen it all! We finally found a place that we felt could house us for the next 5.5 months and began the rental application process. The Sunday before last we signed the lease, and this past Saturday we got the keys!
While it is by no means perfect, there is no amount of joy to express how wonderful it is to finally have a place to call our own and settle into. Here's some info about the place as well as some pictures.

We're planning a trip to Ikea in the near future to buy some more kitchen gear as well as a desk for myself and a kitchen table. Overall, it's come together nicely!
