The Doctor's Birthday
In the midst of all the commotion associated with moving to a new country, the doctor's birthday was somewhat lost in transportation. We celebrated with family and friends a few days before, but his actual birthday was the day after we left. Given that our flight left after 10pm and was followed by 16 hours of travel time plus many hours of time changes, his actual day of birth was a bit of an exhaustion induced bust.
We were initially awaiting getting settled into our 'forever home' for him to open his presents from me, however, due to our housing situation being in question (see our last post) we decided to open them this week. As is customary in our family, birthdays are celebrated over the course of several days. Here's a sample of some of the doctor's gifts he got this week: a homemade card, a new shirt, his favourite licorice candy, and a little minecraft character.
