Food

For those of you that know me and the doctor, you know that we are not the strongest in the kitchen (least of all me) and often find ourselves eating out due to convenience, lack of skill, easy clean up, and obviously taste.

Living downtown Toronto was fantastic because there were so many fairly cheap fast food options available very close by. Moving to a new country is fraught with change, especially when the place you're going doesn't have the same food chains you've relied on for years.

Byebye Tim Hortons bagels.
So long Swiss Chalet rotisserie chicken.
See ya never Dumpling House.

Upon arrival in Israel, we had to hit the ground running otherwise we'd suffer serious nutritional deficiencies from eating pasta 7x/week. To make things easier on us, we decided to mostly make meals that begin with the letter S.

Here are some foods that don't fit the S theme (they mostly fall under the P/F letters).

Pasta/Potatoes, Chicken, & Veggies

Falafel

Pancakes 3 Ways:
cottage cheese, strawberry mélange, & cookie spread

I'm confident that we will soon be able to expand our food alphabet as our prowess in the kitchen increases.
