Schönbrunn Palace
Last week we arrived in Vienna for the International Symposium on Distributed Computing (DISC), a conference where the doctor presented on two accepted papers and also gave an invited talk. The conference was held a bit outside of the main downtown area of Vienna, but just so happened to be a 10 minute walk from the #2 rated attraction to see in Vienna: Schönbrunn Palace.
Scönbrunn Palace is described as an 18th century summer palace that features acres of gardens, the Gloriette, and a zoo. Here are some of the pictures from our visit.
If you ever have a chance to visit Vienna, I would highly recommend visiting this scenic area.
